What
is the difference between the Sony KDL32W4000 and the Sony KDL32V4000
?
The answer is the display format. The Sony W4000 is 1080p and the
Sony V4000 is 720p.
What does this mean? 720p is shorthand for a category of HDTV and
the number 720 stands for the 720 horizontal lines or 720 pixels
of vertical resolution. The letter P stands for progressive scan
or it is not interlaced. |
As with the 720p, the 1080p
is shorthand for a category of HDTV and the "1080" represents
1,080 lines of vertical resolution (1080 horizontal scan lines)
